Friends exists exclusively for the following charitable and educational purposes:
Raising funds to renovate the Briarcliff Manor Public Library and provide fixtures, furnishings, and equipment for the planned expansion; encouraging public awareness of the Library as a cultural center through sponsorship of events and programs; organizing revenue-producing events such as book sales; providing volunteers for special library events and projects.
